These are just some of the artworks you will experience at Art From The Restricted Programmes, an annual exhibition that showcases the artwork of students studying towards their NZQA Level 4 Certificate and Level 5 Diploma in Creativity, from correctional facilities across Aotearoa.

The term restricted applies on multiple levels. Students are restricted in materials, environment, and identity. The majority of art created by Restricted Programmes (RP) students is not seen, and can be considered as outsider art. This exhibition is an opportunity for RP students to publicly share their work with staff, students, family, friends, and the community beyond.
